Overview

When attempting to edit an existing Velixo NX function using the Excel function wizard, the field names do not appear:

Cause

Excel contains a known issue when working with user-defined functions (UDFs) contained in add-ins based on Excel's newest extensibility features. Velixo NX is an example of such an add-in.

While Excel's function wizard can be used to create new UDFs...

... it cannot be used to edit existing UDFs:

Workaround

This issue has been reported to Microsoft by Velixo and other vendors.

At this time, the main workaround for this Excel issue is to edit the function either within the cell:

or within the function bar:

Alternate workaround for Acumatica and Excel for Windows

If you are using Acumatica (or an ERP based on Acumatica) with Excel for Windows, you also have the option to use the Velixo Classic add-in. Velixo Classic is based on different Excel features that do not experience the function wizard issue.
