The SI.COSTTYPENAME function returns the names of the specified Cost Type IDs

Syntax


SI.COSTTYPENAME(ConnectionName, ProjectRange, TaskRange, CostTypeID)


Parameters


The SI.COSTTYPENAME function uses the following parameters:


Parameter

Required/ Optional

Description

ConnectionName

Required

The name of the connection as configured in the Connection Manager

ProjectRangeRequiredThe ID of the project (or multiple projects) for which Cost Types names are to be shown  (available in version 2023.12 and higher)
TaskRangeRequiredThe ID of the task (or multiple tasks) for which Cost Types are to be shown

(available in version 2023.12 and higher)

CostTypeIDRequiredA single cost type ID or an array containing multiple cost type IDs




Examples


Example 1

=SI.COSTTYPENAME("Sage", "*", "*", C3#)

Description

Returns the name of all cost types displayed in the Excel array created by the function in cell C3

Example 2

=SI.COSTTYPENAME("Sage", "*", "*", "SUB")


Description

Returns the name of the cost type "SUB"
